GUIDELINES FOR CLOTHING CONSIGNMENT
SPRING: Brighter colors, cottons, linens, silks, dresses
SUMMER: Short sleeves, whites and light fabrics, sun dresses, shorts
FALL: Darker colors, light sweaters, light jackets, long sleeves, long pants
WINTER: Long sleeves, boots, outerwear, woolens, heavier items
REMEMBER: Your items will sell faster if you follow these 4 steps: 1. Clean each item. 2. Bring them in on hangers. 3. Ensure they are free of rips and stains. 4. They are no older than 2 years.
Here's how it works: Your items are entered into your own computerized account and placed out on the sales floor for 60 days.
50% of the retail selling price of your item will be credited to your account.
We provide a computerized listing of your consigned items showing the description and asking price. This list will also indicate the date on which your contracts expires. Any unsold items should be picked up within 10 days of that date, otherwise they are subject to price reduction and donation.
High Society donates unclaimed items to a local charity and can provide you with a charitable receipt.
High Society is not responsible for damage to or loss of consigned merchandise although we do all we can to prevent either from occurring. |
